A Story about Dialogue and Contrast

In the Nova Gorica Theatre by architect Vojteh Ravnikar, the different layers of walls envelop and encompass the interior, give shape to the process of entering, and represent incorporation into the urban space. The new cube of the small hall, however, is isolated from the exterior and radically different from the specific language of the existing theatre building.
