The new Ravne na Koroškem High School establishes the built edge of the Castle Park, which in the last two decades has been transformed into a working-class Parnass of Ravne na Koroškem, with its strong tradition of ironworks.

The new Ravne na Koroškem High School completes the existing school, sports and cultural infrastructure in the Ravne Castle Park, which hosts a stadium, a winter and summer swimming pool, a ski field, a gymnasium and a library.
