An experiential approach to chair design
The chair has always been and will probably continue to be the one key product that comes regularly on the desk of designers and architects. In the opinion of the London Design Museum, it is through the very object of the chair that it is possible to follow the development of contemporary design from the mid-19th century onwards. The design of chairs reflects new technologies, social and cultural changes, as well as ergonomic and, naturally, aesthetic qualities.
