You Should Raise the Understanding of Architecture
Vladimír Šlapeta is an architect by profession and in his heart. His work focuses on detailed research on the history of modern architecture, especially architectural Modernism and functionalism of the 1920s and 1930s in Czechoslovakia.
In the 1920s and 1930s, a lot of young talented architects worked in Czechoslovakia, where you can observe the entire palette of nuances of the modern movement, ranging from very rational concepts through the dominant influence of Le Corbusier to streamlined and organic architecture.
