I remember well the surprise experienced by Italian architects thirty years ago when the Piran Days of Architecture were organised for the very first time.

Thirty Years and Beyond…
Thirty years ago, one had to believe, as one should also believe today, in the purpose of socialising and in activities in search of the common thoughts, paths and objectives of architectural actions, so as to promote an attitude towards space, as well as its appropriate interpretation.

The Sacred in Architecture

Final Jury Report
The international jury for the 23nd Piranesi awards met on 25 and 26 November 2011 in the premises of Monfort exhibition hall in Portorož.
